About this project
Enterprise-level financial education platform developed for CeriFi through Globant, serving thousands of financial professionals preparing for Series 7, SIE, and other certifications. Over 2.5 years on a 60-90 person cross-functional team, I transformed the platform from having zero accessibility compliance to achieving WCAG Level AA certification, while serving as the bridge between design and development teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of the Design System.

Accessibility Leadership & Impact
Recognized a critical gap in accessibility compliance, I took initiative to self-educate on WCAG guidelines and Axe DevTools, then led the platform's accessibility transformation. I conducted a comprehensive audit of every screen, documenting each issue with remediation strategies in a detailed Excel analysis. This analysis became the foundation for BA and PM teams to create user stories in JIRA, enabling the entire organization to systematically address accessibility.
Beyond implementation, I became the go-to accessibility expert, providing individual mentorship to developers across multiple PODs and delivering technical presentations to frontend teams on the importance of inclusive design. The platform successfully passed formal client audits with zero critical accessibility issues flagged, achieving WCAG Level AA certification and enabling CeriFi to serve clients in regulated financial institutions.
Design-Development Bridge (First 6 Months)
Initially served as the critical liaison between design and development teams, ensuring technical feasibility of design proposals while maintaining Design System integrity. Collaborated closely with designers to validate that development output matched Figma specifications pixel-perfectly, establishing quality standards that persisted throughout the project.
Proactively extended the responsive design beyond client requirements by implementing mobile layouts, despite desktop and tablet being the only specified deliverables. This initiative demonstrated commitment to comprehensive user experience and future-proofed the platform.
Technical Implementation
Built and maintained numerous Angular components using TypeScript and Material Design, ensuring reusability across the platform. Every component modification or new feature included comprehensive Jasmine unit tests, maintaining the team's 80% code coverage requirement.
Participated in bi-weekly sprint demos with US-based CeriFi clients, presenting completed features and gathering feedback. Fixed numerous bugs and created components from scratch, always ensuring accessibility compliance and Design System adherence.
